Our Artist of the Week is June Holland
North-West singer-songwriter June Holland is back with ‘Get Outside’, a bright, guitar-led indie track that makes you feel like it’s summer still.
Inspired by June’s frustration with endless scrolling and how easily screens can replace getting out and living, the track is a reminder to put the phone down and make some memories instead. Jangly guitars, driving drums and a huge chorus give it a carefree indie feel, nodding to bands like Circa Waves, The Strokes and Viola Beach.

Following her debut EP, June continues to build a growing catalogue of indie, soul and folk-leaning music. She’s already picked up support from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Manchester, alongside shows with Eddi Reader, Bernard Butler and The Lottery Winners.
