Artist Of The Week: Shyer

Our next Artist Of The Week is Shyer, led by the Cambridge-based songwriting duo, Amanda and Zak.

After a two-year hiatus, Shyer is back. The duo’s jangly, infectious indie pop rock has won them airplay on the likes of BBC 6 Music’s ‘Fresh on the Net’, BBC Introducing Mixtape and Amazing Radio. They are out with a new EP called ‘Still Life’.

The EP sounds festival-sized, with huge guitars, a tight backline and powerful yet dreamy vocals.

In September 2018, they won Best Indie Act at East Anglia’s NMG Awards and have been featured on blogs and playlists by The Unsigned Guide, Richer Unsigned and Fresh on the Net, in addition to appearances on other smaller independent blogs and playlists too.
