Artist Of The Week: Ellis Thomas

Our Artist Of The Week is Cardiff Singer Songwriter Ellis Thomas. We had the opportunity to hear his beautifully tender and heartfelt music at a festival in the woods on a beach in Wales. It was the perfect location for his captivating quality. One of those artists where you need to put away the phone camera, focus, listen intently and get drawn into the deep words and sleepy melodies.

Ellis Thomas has very recently released a new single called ‘Someone, Somewhere’, produced by previous Richer Unsigned AOTW Tobias Robertson. “The song was written after someone I know sadly took their own life, and is meant to be a gentle reminder to be more open with each other about our feelings,” Ellis adds.

Thomas has seen support from BBC introducing and BBC Wales’ Adam Walton and has a handful of singles out for the world to hear. Hopefully there are buckets loads where it came from, as we can’t wait to hear more music from our Artist Of The Week.
