Artist Of The Week – Lex Lu

Born and raised in Los Angeles California, our Artist Of The Week Lex Lu is the explicit definition of raw energy. At a young age she was infatuated with a wide range of music from, Missy Elliott to Janis Joplin which shows in her sound. Her recent independently-produced album LexAngeles showcases Lex’s ability to to work in a huge variety of styles and genres. Our favourite track, “Let Me Live”, puts a fresh twist on classic California G-Funk while showcasing Lex’s dexterity as both a rapper and a singer. If you’re a fan of Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Little Simz, you should definitely give LexAngeles a spin.
