Our Artist Of The Week is Bournemouth bases Indie Pop artist Beth De Bacci!

Beth grew up with a DJ mother and found a love for music at a young age through the piano. She started writing her own songs at 16 and play all the open mic nights she could find. She gave up two years later, after being told several times the classic line that music isn’t a ‘real career’. After 5 years of being a pharmaceutical sales rep, she was miserable with her life choices and decided to go for the music again. To her surprise things started to happen. With support from the likes of BBC Introducing and Mahogany, she ended up doing some exciting collaborations and started playing headline shows.

She’s now recorded two handfuls worth of singles, and her latest one ‘Stay’ is an absolute banger. Listen to it here:

In similar universe as Gabrielle Aplin and Birdy, Beth De Bacci’s heart wrenching vocal lines backed with atmospheric drums, piano, and electric guitars would work as well on a festival stage as on radio.
