Artist of the Week: Slow Tapes

Hailing from Midlands, Slow Tapes is our Artist of the Week! Having only formed this year, the band is relatively new but they’re aim is to be “the sounds of a decade that never existed”. Their debut single “The Left Side” is a slow burning, melancholic number with cavernous guitar work and echo-drenched vocals set against pretty heavy drum work that sits at an intersection where fans of Foals, Tame Impala, Interpol and Ben Howard might find some common ground.
