Artist Of The Week: Ocean Flaws

Our Artist Of The Week is Ocean Flaws! They’re one of the most exciting bands emerging from the UK indie scene today. Imagine The Cars grew up amidst the humdrum of post-millennial Essex. The band have a great sense of humour as well as some great tunes! They’ve garnered airplay from Radio X, BBC Music Introducing, landed a spot on SiriusXM host Eric Alper’s official Spotify playlist and were named one of John Kennedy’s ‘Hot Ones’ on Radio X’s X-Posure show. Listen to their latest single ‘Keep It Cool’ here: ‘Keep It Cool’ is the perfect song to get swept up by now the summer sun has started shining. It’s got a bit of Hot Chip and a bit of Tame Impala about it, but it also has its own uniqueness and huge sense of fun. Ocean Flaws’ songs are full of great lyrics, glistening synth riffs, shimmering guitar stabs and fluctuating bass lines, which make for some very funky tunes.
