Artist of the Week is St. Catherine’s Child
Our Artist of the Week is St. Catherine’s Child.
St. Catherine’s Child, the transatlantic indie-folk project of Ilana Zsigmond, has just released her new single The Other Side of Twenty Five which is a poignant letter to her younger self – an emotional reflection on loss, perspective, and the people who truly matter.
Listen to The Other Side of Twenty Five here:
Taken from her upcoming debut album ‘This Might Affect You’ (out June 15, Father’s Day), the track blends heartfelt lyricism with warm Americana textures and ethereal vocals. The album itself chronicles Zsigmond’s journey through her father’s passing, with Side A capturing the lead-up and Side B documenting the aftermath and healing.
Written with four other songwriters who had also experienced recent loss, the record is a raw, communal catharsis – produced live by Mercury-nominated David Glover and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
With previous releases earning over 3.7M streams and a UK Americana Awards shortlist nod, St. Catherine’s Child is an artist of rare emotional depth and creative ambition.
