Caernarfon’s Malan is fast becoming one of the most exciting new voices in the UK’s jazz-soul crossover scene. Blending low-key jazz, neo-soul and warm pop textures, she crafts music that feels intimate, inviting and quietly ambitious.
Her new EP Right Here is the strongest showcase yet – a beautifully arranged collection full of soft grooves, smoky vocals and effortless musicality. It also highlights her Welsh-language work, with tracks like ‘Dau Funud’ showing just how naturally she can weave cultural identity into modern, soulful songwriting.
