‘Canada Docks’ is the latest single from Worcestershire singer-songwriter Alex Hopkins. His fourth single to date is far more upbeat than his much-acclaimed previous single, ’Fairytale of Emotions’. Once again, it showcases the quality of his songwriting and the soulfulness of his voice. Deeply personal, it is further proof of his growing stature that he is seeing support from BBC Introducing and Radio 1.

Alex says of the song :
From Alex: “This song is about liking someone, but being scared to take the leap with them. However, they show you that a relationship can be a good thing. The song means so much to me because it is about fixing my perception on love and my own worth as a person and a performer. Even though I am no longer with that person, I thought it would still be appropriate to put the song out as a timestamp for myself, no matter how awkward it could be for me.”
